So, you’re Belouis Some. You haven’t been relevant to the pop music world for 20 years. Somebody puts a video of you performing one of your semi-obscure songs from your second album on YouTube. This is probably the only opportunity most people will have to hear your song in 2008. So what do you do? Or what does your record company do? They take that sucker down.
A shame, too, because its a good song.

Otherwise, there isn’t a whole lot out there. Again, this is a shame because his music is well worth hearing.
They put a new video up and it’s not even close … the sample did play okay and it sounded better than the last two.
Oh well, file a DMCA take-down order, shoot yourself in the foot and stay forgotten.
I have to assume it is his record company doing him this favor. Surely he would want his music heard. Alas.
Well, it is THEIR money not his that paid for it. Screw the artist.
