Jet meets Prince courtesy of DJ Zebra.

This particular “DJ” set of songs has been a combination of a joy and a slog. On the one hand, I enjoy listening to them. On the other hand, I don’t have an awful lot to write about them.

I love the whole mash genre and even the lousy ones are worth a listen for me – frequently one listen.

Anyhow, this mash re-introduced me to this song by Jet, which I think I heard once or twice on MTV. I never quite figured out who was singing it, so at least I was able to download the original. On the other hand, “Sexy MF” is one of my least favorite Prince songs. Even on his lousy songs, I can hear his genius, so when I don’t like one of his tunes, I tend to blame my own limited tastes.

None the less, this isn’t a favorite mash.
