As I’ve mentioned, I loved early 90′s hip-hop. The Dream Warriors were a smart, talented hip-hop duo from Toronto. Their debut album, And Now The Legacy Begins was a college radio hit in 1993, and I played “My Definition Of A Boombastic Jazz Style” on almost every KTUH show I had that year.

I confess, I didn’t play much of the rest of their album.

Anyhow, the main sample here is from Quincy Jones’ insanely catchy “Soul Bossa Nova:”
