I just received an email:
Hey Memo –
Improv is in a renaissance in the Big Easy. Met a cheeky fellow who introduces himself to a crowd with “Whim! Wham! I’m Jollypoppin Lollygagger and the center of your attention…” We played some games and drew a huge crowd out on Bourbon Street. I hear LA calling but not ready to give-up being a Clown de Carnival everyday…

“Cheeky Fellow?” Me thinks that Monsieur Clown du Jour has been on the road a might too much. Well, at least he’s enjoying himself. It’s also good to know that crowd suggestions for Improv Games have joined all the spontaneous entertainment found on the street corners in the French Quarter.
Anyway, we find ourselves coming full circle back to 2004′s The End of a Heartache with the impressive Metalcore Track One. It has a Full Frontal Brutal Sonic Assault with a Melodic Bridge to to round out your overall aural enjoyment.
The Rose of Sharyn is about the pain one feels when losing a loved one to an untimely death. The pain is overshadowed by the love he still feels for her which will never die. Hmm, Everlasting Love and Romance in Heavy Metal, who knew? Surely not Tipper Gore and the Parents’ Music Resource Center!!
