In 2008, The Fratellis released their second (and likely last) album, Here We Stand. Where the first album tended to sound like Vaudeville meets glam rock, this album tends to sound a bit more like 70′s AOR. Not necessarily a bad thing, but the first album was something fresh and new, while this one feels a little more tried and true.

“A Heady Tale” has a fantastic piano track and some excellent lyrics, but it doesn’t quite stick in my head for any length of time, which is a real shame because its certainly pleasant enough.
