“Wonderlust King” is a great fun song that was also the only single from Super Taranta! The song tells the story of a character who can’t stop traveling and feels his life is rich as a result. That’s sort of all, but the song is so upbeat and infectious that its absolutely irresistible.

Super Taranta! offers a number of songs that are the most seamless blending of the gypsy tradition and punk aesthetic that Gogol Bordello had yet achieved. Its fascinating who the overwhelming joy of the music isn’t diluted at all by the aggressive punk approach – indeed, the two style compliment each other perfectly here.
