3298. “Supertheory of Supereverything” by Gogol Bordello

I like “Supertheory of Supereverything” so much that I made it the theme song of a show I’ve been working on. Its a song about having faith in science and reason instead of blind faith.

One feature that of Super Taranta! that really leaps out to me is that the band’s backing vocals really took an exciting quantum leap forward. Maybe it has to do with different production work than on the last albums, but the shouted backing sequences are really exciting on the whole album.

The “Supertheory of Supereverything” makes appearances in two other songs on the album, making it a sort of mini-theme of the record.
