Written by Parsons and his long time collaborator Chris Ethridge, “She” tells the story of a woman who “sure could sing.” That overly brief summary hardly does it justice, but captures the essence of the song. The voice of the titular character is used to sing praises to Jesus, makes her man fall in love with her, and generally seems to bring her a sense of peace. Its a lovely song that’s been covered a number of times, notably by Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders and also by Norah Jones:
