The title track from Warning features lyrics that consist almost entirely of the sort of slogans and warnings we might hear on any given day. In total, the message is basically that its all right to cross over the line and ignore a lot of this little warnings every now and then.

The chorus is a classic Green Day sing-a-long (that is made extra fun if you invent a high harmony line for it while playing it loudly in the car). Its not especially punk in its sound, but so what? The song is a great pop-rock tune and lord knows we need more of those.

Oh, I do want to mention that the opening line of the song – “This is a public service announcement” – can’t help but invoke The Clash’s “Know Your Rights.”
