Some folks feel like “Peacemaker” has a sort of Middle Eastern flavor, and I can hear that, though it sounds more Gypsy to me. Maybe I just hear that because I was listening to so much Gogol Bordello recently.

This is one of my favorite songs off of 21st Century Breakdown. Tré Cool’s drum work in particular makes this song for me, though the whole piece is urgent and rocking.
