“¿Viva la Gloria? (Little Girl)” serves as a thematic sequel to an early track, “¡Viva la Gloria!” As I mentioned them, Gloria is one of the two featured characters in the 21st Century Breakdown story.

Musically, this song sounds like its straight out of a rock opera version of Fiddler on the Roof. It starts off sounding almost like a traditional musical theatre song before turning into a dramatic, compelling rock song that references Wizard of Oz (“There is no place like home”) and ends on an unresolved note. Yet another album highlight.
