Green Day’s “See The Light” is not to be confused with Cat Stevens’ “See The Light:”

This is the final song on 21st Century Breakdown. Its fine, though it doesn’t really put the fizz in my soda. The keyboard line at the beginning makes it sound like a specific 80′s band is playing here, but for the life of me I can’t put my finger on which one. I kind of wish that the guitar parts on this song were more rock and less pop, but I can understand why they made the choice to make “See The Light” sound more like an inspiring ending than a rocking ending.
