Social Distortion is a seminal California punk rock band and their influence can be heard all over Green Day’s oeuvre. Green Day’s cover of “Another State of Mind” is another very faithful tribute to a band that they clearly respect a great deal.

This is an appropriate last entry about Green Day this time around. They have a trio of albums coming out at the end of the year and I can’t wait.
