M-816. “Losing His Touch” by Jack Off Jill

Onward we go to Track Thirteen from 2000’s Clear Hearts Grey Flowers. The overdriven guitar starts this track aggressively and keeps the adrenaline pumping through the track. Some of the guitar work is reminiscent of early White Zombie.

Agent Moulder again demonstrates her Bass playing skills. She starts off playing strong rhythmic syncopated bassline then flawlessly moves up front and doubles the guitar in the fills and back again. She may never be considered a top ten bass player, but she surely gets underated.

Jessicka belts out some sweet and powerful vocals and yells that work seemlessly with the arrangement. Her performance also underscores the lyrics which seem to reflect a disdain for organized religion. To me, it sounds as if she views Religious Institutions more as money making machines by Selling Real Estate in Heaven rather than helping lost souls find their way.

TOXIC666ANGEL provides a stellar Lyric Video for us again!

And Jack Off Jill continues to be the great stuff to cover as demonstrated by this young man, SatanMetalhead on guitar.
