515. “Morning Crescent” by Belle & Sebastian
Joey Michaels on May 31st, 2008Cannot find it online at this time, alas.
This is sort of a Belle and Sebastian play slow tempo Tom Petty song in my opinion. It isn’t necessarily dreck, but its hardly their strongest work.
It ends with a curious couplet:
The possibilities suggest themselves to me
We’re a little too free
Yeah, it means something else in context, but its still an odd sentiment coming from any rock band.
What do I know, though?
This is the most recent Belle and Sebastian song that I own. The next two albums are the amazing compilation Push Barman To Open Old Wounds and their originally-very-rare Tigermilk. I admit this is a lot of Belle and Sebastian, but I like them, so what can you do?
