This is sort of a Belle and Sebastian play slow tempo Tom Petty song in my opinion. It isn’t necessarily dreck, but its hardly their strongest work.

It ends with a curious couplet:

The possibilities suggest themselves to me
We’re a little too free

Yeah, it means something else in context, but its still an odd sentiment coming from any rock band.

What do I know, though?

This is the most recent Belle and Sebastian song that I own. The next two albums are the amazing compilation Push Barman To Open Old Wounds and their originally-very-rare Tigermilk. I admit this is a lot of Belle and Sebastian, but I like them, so what can you do?
