I don’t remember who or what outfit sent me the e-mail that linked to site for this promotional giveaway from Maverick Records (WMG.)

After downloading and playing this song, I was instantly not a fan of the it. So much so, I am perplexed why it is still on my MP3 player. I keep saying I am going to remove it every time I hear it but never do. Now, not only it is still there, I am forced to write about it.

Lillix is your basic run of the mill (IMHO) pop rock band that hail from Canada. Don’t worry, I won’t blame Canada.

It’s About Time was their first single from their debut album, 2003’s Falling Uphill. It is a super polished product that is way more Pop than Rock.

Here is their Official Video that they posted on MySpace Music.

I stumbled upon this 2003 live performance video that was filmed in a backyard in New Jersey. This captures their true raw sound. Even though there are several miscues in harmony, I think it sounds far better than the polished pop release.

Hmm, I would much have the liver version on my MP3 player…
