AllMusic.com calls “Tell Me When It’s Over” the “definitive Dream Syndicate song.” Its hard to argue this point. While I would necessarily call it the best Dream Syndicate song (that is still to come), it is a fantastic piece that shows off many of the bands musical and song writing strengths. The guitar work in particular is of note.
