M-585. “A Variation of Am” by LeAnna Mosley

Here is one of my ultimate favorite songs from my MySpace Music Collection.

LeAnna Mosley is a writer & composer of various acoustic styles, Classical, Blues, Folk and Bluegrass. She was born in Appalachia region of SW VA just a few hollers over from where German ancestors lived in the Upper New River Valley.

She grew up in a strong musical household and was extremely proficient and poetic in her performances and compositions. Prior to her 18th birthday, she was in a car accident that put her in an extended coma. This was followed by extensive rehabilitation that including how to learn to walk, talk, read and write again.

She also had learn music all over again. Through her love of music, determination and faith, at 27 she is very accomplished musician and composer. Her works and performances convey her three greatest loves; God, life and music.

You can read more about her ReverbNation Bio. You can hear more and purchase her music at MySpace Music by clicking the RIAA Free image above or by clicking here.

Hopefully this post will dispel the rumours of my demise amongst the tinfoil-hatted sandbaggers that frequent this site. I’ve actually been house hunting to purchase my first home. We may be making an offer on one soon…

By the way, how did the house hunting go?

This is a gorgeous, haunting instrumental piece. Does she play all the instruments or primarily the guitar? Because, man, the guitar work kicks ass.

Been through quite a few ups and downs. Lost a bid on Bank Sale even though ours was higher…???

Right now, we have an offer on a house (short sale) that has made it all the way to the Bank that holds the mortgage. We made it on 1 Dec. and banks are in no hurry to accept offers for half of what is initially owed. If the foreclosure process goes all the way to repossession; they go to bank sale and will get even less.

Real Estate practices piss me off.
