In 1999, Lacuna Coil released their debut full length album, In a Reverie. This album also featured a recently added second guitarist as a new member.

AllMusic gave the album four stars and called it … a fine debut by a band that bears watching. [1]

My Wings is the fourth track from this album and is one of the two Track Picks by AllMusic. It incorporates smartly added background vocals by Andre Ferro (in parenthesis in the lyrics) during the second time through the chorus by Cristina Scabbia.

    AMVs sort of crack me up, but in a good way.

    I tell you, Ms. Scabbia really pushes this band to a higher level in my estimation. Having a genuinely talented vocalist to compliment the musicians is the magic touch for me!
