2002’s Comalies was Lacuna Coil’s third full length album and their fifth release overall for Century Media Records. This album is the one that caught the attention on of the corporate music world. [1][2][3][4]

Swamped is the first track and was the second single released from this Album. It was released two years after the album since it took that long for the first single to gain traction on Corporate Radio. According to Wikipedia, this single continues to make an impact on Neo-Americana:

The song is featured in the video game “Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines”, and the movie “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” as part of the soundtrack. “Swamped” is available as a downloadable song for Rock Band. A music video has been produced for the song.

I originally downloaded this song (and the next) from Century Media and bought the CD no long after.
