Two Years of MP3 Magic

Two years ago today, I joined Joey on his ambitious project to write about every song on his iPOD. It sounded like fun. Since music is a big part of who I am, I joined him with my first post. One year later, I wrote my 430th MP3 post, fittingly it was one of my favorite bands. At the time I was on track to finish in with-in four years at an average of eight songs a week.
In stark contrast, I will soon be writing post #600. That’s barely one song every two days. To make matters worse, when I first started, I had a meager 1230 songs. Now I am at 1464.
This 230 song increase includes 26 songs I’ve added since passing the letter. Why so few? I usually start adding songs when I write about an artist I really like. I have added a lot of music to my computer but it won’t fit on the MP3 player, so maybe I am due for an upgrade.

Wow — your 600 posts trumps my paltry 100 in a big way. You seem almost apologetic for the frequency of your posts - I think you and Joey are doing an amazing job of cataloging a mountain of music. My hat’s off to both of you!
