M-613. “Fuera de mí” de La Ley
Track Fourteen, Fuera de mí (Outside of Me,) seems to be about either having an out-of-body experience or passing on from this world to the next. The musical arrangement supports both interpretations with its ethereal ambiance.
The vocals still have that romantic quality to them that kind of misleads the non-native speaker when the song is first heard.
Y digo:
“todo se me escapa
un paso mas allá”.
Fuera de mí
en el umbral del mundo
sin necesidad de entrar
Fuera de mí
perdido en otro rumbo
sin necesidad de volverAnd I say:
“everything is beyond me
one step further.
Outside of me
on the threshold of the world
without entering
Outside of me
lost in another direction
with-out necessity to come back

The great thing about not knowing the language they are singing in is that it does indeed make every song a love song.
Another decent song. I think listening to all their work back to back like this is making some of their tunes blend together a little to me.

Maná’s entire Unplugged CD was a continuous blend to me.
