This article in Magnet Magazine led me to go back and rip “Rocking Horse Road” into my iTunes library. I hadn’t listened to it much since Brutal Youth was originally released and I’m very glad that that article led me to revisit this song.

I think its significant that this song is on the same album as “Pony Street.” I suspect that this song somehow involves the same characters, but I can’t quite wrap my head around what they have in common. Its also possible that I’m forcing a relationship where there is none. Who can say?

I really enjoy the build in this song - the final minute or so rocks out.
