The Human Abstract is from this band’s first album to foray out of Swedish Black Metal scene into what has been coined Progressive Space Metal. Their fascination with Science Fiction was the driving force behind 1999’s Animatronic .

Their updated musical arrangement is definitely in the vein of Industrial and Symphonic Metal, but their lyrics still have some Black Metal underpinnings, IMO.

    What an interesting sound! Well, other than the bulldog vocals. The sonic approach to the song is fascinating. I love the guitar/keyboard work on this one. Wish they had a singer more like Lacuna Coil’s…
