Next from my MySpace Music Collection is Austrian band Kontrust. They are fronted by both a female and male singers, Agata Jarosz and Stefan Lichtenberger, respectively. They told me in their friend request that they had a duet like Lacuna Coil and I should check them out.

That is the only similarity they have with each other.

Unlike Lacuna Coil, they are not a Goth Metal band, but more of a European Rock-Pop-Metal “Crossover” band incorporating a lot of styles into their music. [1]

This song is Track Twelve from 2005’s WE!COME HOME The dual vocals contrast one another in a complimentary way. The musical arrangement delivers enough crunch and melody to hold everything together as it delivers powerful assault on your aural sense.

They have yet to catch on in the United States, but they are growing rapidly in popularity in Europe including an appearance in Austria’s Nova Rock Festival where they shared the stage with Machinehead and Dimmu Borgir.
